Can you hold a place before I apply?
We are unable to reserve a unit without a signed lease and without receiving the security deposit.
Do I pay first month’s rent and last month’s rent with my security deposit?
The amount due at lease signing will depend on the particular property and other factors that go into the qualification process. Please contact our Office at info@grid7properties.com to review the property's requirements.
How do I pay rent?
If you do not want to pay online, please email our Office at info@grid7properties.com or review your lease for payment options.
How old do you have to be to apply?
In order for Grid 7 Properties to review your credit and background you must be 18 years of age.
I want to get a pet. What do I do?
Check your lease to see if a pet is allowed, or email our Office at info@grid7properties.com.
I want to move out, but my roommate wants to stay. What do I do?
In this situation or other similar situations, please email our Office at info@grid7properties.com to discuss your options.
Is the deposit refundable?
The purpose of your security deposit is to insure you will deliver the property upon move out in the same, or better, condition than you received it and that you will pay your rent on time and in full. If all conditions of the lease are met, State of Illinois Real Estate Law provides at least 30 days after the lease end date to send reconciliation of the Security Deposit to you at your forwarding address.
My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out. What do I do?
Your lease outlines the amount of notice required and how the notice is to be served. A Move Out appointment, scheduled in advance with one of our Agents, is required as well. Please email our office at info@grid7properties.com if you have any questions.
Do I need a co-signer?
Please contact our Office at info@grid7properties.com to discuss your individual situation so we can determine if you would need a co-signer or not.
